India is a nation with her own cultural, religious, and socio-economic diversity. It has magnificent heritage that goes back to several thousand years.
India Community Religious and Cultural Center was founded in 1984 with an objective of maintaining and advancing the religious, cultural and social heritage of Indian Community. Since it's inception it has sponsored numerous cultural programs and has always remembered and helped the suffering and the less fortunate. 2009 marks the 25th year aniversary of ICRCC.
ICRCC has teamed up and supported other community organizations in Syracuse like South Asia Center of Syracuse University, Cultural Resources Council and Open Hand Theater. ICRCC has organized high caliber cultural and social programs to advance the cultural spirit of Syracuse Indian community.
ICRCC has humanitarian perspective as well. When calamities struck India or US, ICRCC has risen to ocassion with significant contributions. ICRCC has contributed a substantial amount of money to the World Trade Center Fund, Tsunami Relief Fund and Gujrat Earthquake Relief Fund.
ICRCC is a proud and vibrant organization of Syracuse community and is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2009.
